This page is intended to offer a view on how the VMOS systems are performing in general. It will not be able to highlight any site or customer specific issues which might be caused by a number of factors that might be outside of our control.
For incidents that affect service we will be posting updates on this page with information on the issue and how it is affecting the service, what we are doing to resolve and expected timeframes for resolution.
The information is divided per service to help pinpoint potential problems on the different aspects of the platform. Some services might include both customer facing and back of house/management areas of the system. For example if the catalog service is flagged as degraded performance it will mostly be slower menu management operations rather than slow menu loads for customers.
There are 3 levels of highlighted states except the all normal green “Operational” state:
* Degraded performance: This means that some aspects of that particular service might be slower than usual. It should not be visible to the customer or bad enough to affect regular restaurant operations.
* Partial outage: This service is slower than it should and/or we are seeing unexpected errors from it. All restaurant and customer facing operations are still working as expected and we’re nor seeing any effects on normal activities for either customers or staff. Even so this will count as downtime on the page.
* Major outage: There are severe issues with this service which means customers and/or restaurant staff can’t use parts of it. You will see clear communications on this page about what is going on with more details around the incident. This is an all hands on deck problem and we will be working to fix it as fast as we can!
